The NOTIS Legal Division presents

DUI 101
Presented by Raymond Ejarque, ATTORNEY at LAW

This is a recorded workshop formatted into an on-demand workshop.

What is it about?
In this course, we will explore the court proceedings that certified interpreters are likely to encounter in their work. We will cover a range of topics, including the basics of court interpreting, the role of the interpreter in court proceedings, and the types of cases that interpreters may be called upon to interpret. We will also delve into more specific areas of court interpreting, such as plea forms, DUI sentencing grids, and sentence recommendation forms. Throughout the course, we will provide practical guidance on how to approach these various aspects of court interpreting, and will highlight key considerations and best practices for interpreters working in this context. By the end of the course, participants will have a deeper understanding of the court interpreting process, and will be better equipped to provide high-quality interpretation services in this setting.
